Washington, DC - Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) sent a letter to President Joe Biden expressing concerns regarding the White House's plan to pressure social media companies into censoring American speech. Our First Amendment rights are sacred and must be protected. Tenney joined several other members in sending this letter, including Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The Justice Department says it has decided not to open a civil rights investigation into government-run nursing homes in New York over their COVID-19 response.

Under former President Donald Trump, the department’s civil rights division requested data from several states about COVID-19 deaths in public nursing homes.

The request came amid questions about whether New York inadvertently worsened the pandemic death toll by requiring nursing homes to accept residents previously hospitalized for COVID-19.

TOWN OF MAINE (WBNG) -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) announced a $1 million grant for the Greater Binghamton Airport Thursday afternoon.

The funding will be used to expand air service to other regional transportation hubs, Senator Schumer said. He also said it will support the region's "continued economic growth" and open the area to other opportunities.

Tenney noted that the funding will be used to support a new air service to Washington, D.C. It will also be used to fund associated marketing for the service.

The funding will be used to support a new air service to the Washington, DC area and fund associated marketing for the new service.
