ALBANY, NY – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney took to the House floor last week to cheer on the successes of 3 high school football teams from her district.

Tenney read into the record the accomplishments of the Tioga Tigers, Chenango Forks Blue Devils and Maine-Endwell Spartans who each won state football championships this year.

Tioga captured the class D crown finishing 12 and 0.

Chenango Forks won the C class by shutting out Schuylerville in a rematch of the 2019 championship game.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) announced today that she will host a live Tele-Town Hall for constituents in New York’s 22nd Congressional District from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, December 16. 

Participants will be able to ask questions, provide feedback through interactive poll questions, and hear from Tenney on issues important to them. This new Tele-Town Hall date was rescheduled due to changes in the voting schedule of the House of Representatives.

A mask mandate for shops and other indoor spaces in New York state took effect Monday as officials confront a surge in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Friday that masks would be required in all indoor public places unless the businesses or venues implement a vaccine requirement.

The rule will last at least until Jan. 15, and enforcement is in the hands of local counties.

WASHINGTON — As tensions rise and Russia builds up troops on its border with Ukraine, members of Congress are raising concerns.

“The Russians will take advantage of anything you leave them. If you leave a crack they’re going to get through it,” said Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Penn.).

Kelly says how the U.S. reacts will impact our standing in the world.

“Our failure to act in a very positive and a strong way causes our allies and our friends to think ‘I don’t know that we can rely on the United States,'” Kelly said.
