Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22),  House Republican Conference Chair Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21), Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11),  and Congresswoman Grace Meng (NY-06) recently signed onto a bipartisan letter to President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin calling on the Administration to formally designate Kenya a combat zone to allow a group of New York National Guardsmen stationed in the region as part of Task Force Wolfhound to receive Combat Zone Tax Exclusions (CZTE).

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today sent a letter to New York Governor Kathy Hochul calling on her to appoint a special counsel to investigate allegations of sexual harassment within New York Attorney General Letitia James’s office. Tenney was joined by Republican Conference Chair Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and Congressman Chris Jacobs.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today voted in support of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the fiscal year 2023 (FY23), which passed the House by a vote of 350-80. The bill includes two of Congresswoman Tenney’s amendments to hold America’s adversaries accountable and strengthen U.S. national security. Crucially, the bill delivered a 4.6% pay boost to servicemembers and a significant increase to the Department of Defense’s budget at a time of increasing global competition.

Tenney co-led the letter with Congressman Mike Turner (OH). It was also signed by Rep. Bryan Steil (WI), Rep. Bill Johnson (OH), Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (PA), and Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN).
