Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced the 15 projects she submitted to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration as part of the fiscal year 2024 (FY24) Community Project Funding (CPF) process. The CPF is fiscally targeted and limited in scope. This year, it is capped at just .5% of federal spending.

The webinar is open to all constituents of New York’s 24th District. It will provide a general overview of who qualifies for a passport, how to apply, what assistance we can provide in the application process, and any other relevant questions or concerns.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted in favor of H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023. The legislation ensures that biological females are not forced to compete against biological men in women's competitive sports funded through Title IX.

Tenney was an original cosponsor of this legislation and introduced this bill on February 1, 2023, on behalf of the bill’s original lead sponsor, Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL). This bill passed the House by a vote of 219-203.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today introduced the bipartisan and bicameral Fighting Trade Cheats Act to combat malign foreign actors, like China, from evading U.S. trade laws and dumping foreign-made goods into U.S. markets. It will also protect good-paying jobs for American workers.

Rep. Mike Bost (R-IL) and Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL) led the House version of the bill, while the Senate version was introduced by Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Thom Tillis (R-NC)

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted to override President Biden’s veto of H.J. Res. 27, a bipartisan resolution to overturn the Administration’s deeply flawed and burdensome “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS) rule. The legislation passed by a vote of 227-196 but failed to achieve the two-thirds necessary for a veto override.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today introduced the bipartisan Motorsports Fairness and Permanency Act, which makes permanent the seven-year cost recovery period for investments in motorsports entertainment complexes. This allows companies to continue making long-term investments in racing facilities with certainty. The legislation was introduced with Reps. Mike Thompson (D-CA), Bill Posey (R-FL), Terri A. Sewell (D-AL), Rudy Yakym III (R-IN), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Drew Ferguson (R-GA).

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) joined Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) in introducing the Protect Local Taxpayers Act in response to Governor Kathy Hochul’s Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Proposal, which would keep $625 million in Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) that have been shared with New York counties since 2011. Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22) is also an original cosponsor of this bill.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today released a comprehensive report detailing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) terrorist activity around the world and calling on our partners and allies to join the United States in designating the body as a terrorist organization. Tenney also introduced a bipartisan resolution urging the European Union to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
