Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) joined Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) in urging the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Mandy Cohen to delay the implementation of new rules that will require all dogs entering the United States from Canada to be older than six months, “appear healthy,” have a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-endorsed export health certificate and a CDC-approved Dog Import Form, effective August 1, 2024.

Washington, DC— Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24), co-chair of the Election Integrity Caucus, voted in favor of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act) to prevent noncitizens from voting in federal elections.

This legislation, which Tenney cosponsored, passed the House by a vote of 221-198.

Washington, DC— Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) voted today in favor of two pieces of legislation during the Ways and Means Committee Markup aimed at combating anti-Semitism on college campuses by holding accountable academic institutions who encourage or fail to combat this behavior and protect their students. This markup comes as colleges and universities across the United States have allowed anti-Semitic students to create chaos and threaten fellow students on their campuses because of their Jewish faith.

H.R. 8752, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act; H.R. 8771, the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act; and H.R. 8774, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, all passed the House by votes of 212-203, 212-200, and 217-198, respectively.
