Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) last week highlighted the ongoing crisis at our Southern Border in a speech on the Floor of the House of Representatives.

In her speech, Congresswoman Tenney spoke about the explosion of the disaster occurring at our Southern Border, including the record 2.1 million encounters with migrants at the border during this fiscal year. She also spoke about the influx of deadly drugs, such as fentanyl, which have heavily afflicted communities across upstate New York.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) yesterday joined with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) in letters to Visa, Mastercard, and American Express demanding answers about their implementation of a new Merchant Category Code (MCC) for firearms retailers. Anti-Second Amendment advocates have long advocated for a specific MCC for firearms retailers so that credit card companies can flag what they deem to be “suspicious” purchases, potentially infringing on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans.
