Congresswoman Claudia L. Tenney, R-22, New Hartford, has joined forces with fellow congressional lawmakers to introduce the Clean Energy Future through Innovation Act of 2021, according to an announcement from her office.

“The bill will boost innovation of clean energy technologies and reduce emissions from the power sector, while preserving affordability and reliability,” notes a release.

WASHINGTON – A Utica woman stood by Congresswoman Claudia Tenney in Washington D.C. Wednesday morning to rally support for the Essential Caregivers Act of 2021.

Tenney introduced the bill in the House back in March.

The bill would allow nursing home residents to have family members designated as caregivers that can visit and care for them, even during a public health emergency like the coronavirus pandemic.

Republican New York Rep. Claudia Tenney will introduce legislation Thursday that would amend the Internal Revenue Code to prohibit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations from providing direct funding to official election organizations.

The Daily Caller first obtained the legislation, titled the “End Zuckerbucks Act.” The legislation would prohibit non-profits from providing direct funding to state and local election officials or risk losing their tax exempt status.

Established in 2015, the Congressional App Challenge allows students from across the United States to compete by creating and exhibiting a software application the students create for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.
