Utica, NY – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) today introduced a resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that New York State’s Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) is unconstitutional. The CCIA was rushed through the state legislature and signed by Governor Hochul on July 1, 2022, in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in NYSRPA v. Bruen, which overturned the state’s previous unconstitutional concealed carry law.

Utica, NY – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today joined a letter led by Congressman Chris Jacobs (NY-27) calling on New York State Department of Education Commissioner Betty Rosa to release 2021-2022 Grades 3 through 8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics assessment data. Traditionally, the state has released this data in August prior to the start of the next school year. However, the data for the previous school year still are yet to be made public.

Utica, NY — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22), founder and co-chair of the House Election Integrity Caucus, today released the following statement in response to a report released by the Public Interest Legal Foundation that found 3.1 Million New York voter registrations were missing personally identifiable information (PII), which includes Social Security numbers or drivers license numbers. This information is required by the Helping America Votes Act (HAVA) in order to promote good voter roll maintenance.
