Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is touting this sweeping legislation as a win for transparency and election integrity. But that could not be farther from the truth.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Claudia L. Tenney, R-22, has announced her support for a package of amendments to the legislation H.R. 1, also known as the For the People Act.

In a press release, Tenney said the “sweeping legislation amounts to an unprecedented federal takeover of state elections,” which would “weaken the integrity of the voting process, lead to massive unfunded mandates on our communities, prevent meaningful oversight of elections, and pave the way for errors and abuse.”

Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Claudia Tenney today released the following statement after allegations of sexual harassment were made yesterday against Governor Andrew Cuomo by a former aide.

"Governor Andrew Cuomo's house of cards is crumbling before our eyes," Congresswoman Tenney said. "The allegations of sexual harassment made against Governor Cuomo are deeply disturbing. They expose the climate of fear, bullying, and abuse that Governor Cuomo has used to silence critics and escape accountability."

Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Claudia Tenney today supported two measures in the House Foreign Affairs Committee related to Burma. The measures condemn the recent military coup in Burma as well as the detention of civilian leaders, and call on the Biden Administration to use the full force of its diplomacy to hold the Burmese military responsible for its actions. Both measures, which Congresswoman Tenney proudly co-sponsored and supported, were adopted unanimously by the Committee.
