Thayer with the Presidential Unit Citation Medal in recognition of his valorous service during World War II as a member of K-Company, 3rd Battalion, 119th Regiment, 30th infantry Division, also known as "Old Hickory."

Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee have attacked the Biden administration for lifting sanctions last week on three former Iranian officials, and two companies, that had been involved in trading Iranian petrochemical products. The delisting, the State Department said, followed a “verified change in status or behavior.”

New Hartford Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has joined with former President Trump's physician, and 12 other Republicans asking President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test.

Trump's ex doctor and now Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson sent a letter on Thursday to Biden, his chief physician, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, calling for a mental test to be administered, like the one he gave to then President Trump during his tenure. Jackson said Trump scored a 30 out of 30 then, and that Biden should follow the precedent.

Washington, DC - Congresswomen Claudia Tenney (NY-22), member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, today led several of her colleagues in a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressing serious concerns over the Administration's recent decision to delist three former Iranian government officials and two previously sanctioned companies. These actions undermine prior commitments made by Secretary Blinken and other State Department officials to not unilaterally ease pressure on the Iranian regime.

My race for New York’s 22nd Congressional District was not certified for almost 100 days after New Yorkers cast their votes in November.

Washington, DC - Representatives Claudia Tenney (NY-22) and John B. Larson (CT-01) along with Reps. Elise Stefanik (NY-21), John Rutherford (FL-04), Yvette Herrell (NM-02), Madison Cawthorn (NC-11), Jeff Van Drew (NJ-02), Steve Cohen (TN-09), Ted Budd (NC-13), and Abigail Spanberger (VA-07) today introduced an updated version of the bipartisan Essential Caregivers Act (H.R. 3733). This bill protects the rights of residents in long-term care facilities by allowing them to access up to two designated essential caregivers during a public health emergency.
