Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced the launch of the Community Project Funding (CPF) process for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24). The FY24 CPF process is open to local governments and non-profits. The program allows localities and non-profits to submit requests for federal funding for high-priority community projects in New York’s 24th District. All projects are vetted thoroughly and subject to strict oversight. They must also demonstrate strong local support. CPF is targeted and limited; this year, it is capped at .5% of federal spending.

This legislation would prevent colleges and universities from continuing to impose unconstitutional and overreaching COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Specifically, it restricts access to federal higher education funds for institutions that continue to impose vaccine mandates on student populations.
Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) co-led this bill alongside Rep. Tenney. Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) was also an original cosponsor.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today joined a resolution expressing opposition to Governor Kathy Hochul’s plan to steal enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (eFMAP) funds from local governments. Hochul’s plan, which was released as part of her budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year, would jeopardize the financing of Medicaid and pass along significant costs to New York’s 62 counties, which fund a large portion of the state’s Medicaid program.
Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today reintroduced the Diverting IRS Resources to the Exigent Crisis Today (DIRECT) Act. The legislation, which Tenney first introduced last year, redirects $45.6 billion from the Biden administration’s overreaching plan to increase audits of low and middle-class families to the border to hire additional law enforcement agents and increase security.
