Lockport, New York – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) last week, hosted a roundtable discussion with the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance to discuss the challenges faced by manufacturers in the district and portance of rebuilding American manufacturing. The discussion focused on opportunities to enhance American manufacturing, strengthen US supply chains, and create opportunities for rural communities.

Tenney was joined at the ceremony by members of the Batavia City Council and the Batavia Police Department as well as New York State Director for USDA Rural Development Brian Murray and former US Representative Chris Jacobs.

Oswego, New York – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced her office will be hosting a Webinar with guests from the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce to discuss best trade practices for businesses in New York’s 24th District. 

This webinar is open to all constituents. The Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Watertown International Trade Administration offices will provide an overview of how they can assist American businesses when entering foreign markets to sell American-made products.

Oswego, New York — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced the 15 projects she selected to submit to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration as part of the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Community Project Funding (CPF) process. 

These projects will benefit New York’s 24th District by improving water infrastructure, creating essential public facilities, supporting public safety, and promoting community revitalization.

Washington, DC — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted in favor of H.R. 192 to prohibit individuals who are not citizens of the United States from voting in elections in the District of Columbia. 

Tenney cosponsored this legislation, which passed the House by a vote of 262-143.

In 2022, D.C. enacted a law allowing noncitizens who met residency and other requirements to vote in local elections. This bill repeals the D.C. law, which was enacted on February 23, 2023.

Washington, DC — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today sent a letter to the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemning the Biden administration’s decision to express condolences for the passing of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
