Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted in favor of H.R. 3746, the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023. This agreement reins in the Biden administration’s out-of-control spending, protects vital services for our nation’s seniors, veterans, and military personnel, defends small businesses and hardworking families from aggressive IRS overreach, and addresses our nation’s worker shortage.

This legislation passed the House by a vote of 314-117.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) joined with Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) today in a bipartisan letter urging the United States Secretary of State to work with the Government of Canada to find a solution to exempt Americans from Canada’s Underused Housing Tax. The push comes ahead of Memorial Day weekend, which typically marks the start of the busy cross-border summer season for cottage owners.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) this week voted for four pieces of legislation focused on supporting law enforcement officers during National Police Week, which runs from May 14, 2023, to May 20, 2023.

Tenney kicked off National Police Week last week with a wreath-laying ceremony at the National Law Enforcement Memorial, where she laid a wreath to honor Rochester police officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz. Officer Mazurkiewicz, who was raised in Livingston County, was tragically killed in the line of duty in 2022.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced the winner of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition, which features artwork from high school students across New York’s 24th District. The winner of the competition was Kailey Forbes of Union Springs High School. Her winning piece, “Duality,” will be featured in the U.S. Capitol along with other winners from across the country.
