CLINTON — U.S. Army National Guard veteran Kenneth C. Thayer, 95, was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation Medal in recognition of valorous service during World War II as a member of K-Company, 3rd Battalion, 119th Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, also known as “Old Hickory,” during a special ceremony held Sunday at Brookdale Senior Living.
Thayer was presented with the medal by Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, R-22, New Hartford.

The letter asks the non-profit to immediately publish its financial 990s for public review to clarify how the $350 million dollar donation the organization received was then distributed to more than 2,500 election officials and government agencies across the country during the 2020 election.

The delisting, the State Department said, followed a “verified change in status or behavior.”

These actions undermine prior commitments made by Secretary Blinken and other State Department officials to not unilaterally ease pressure on the Iranian regime.
