Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) voted in favor of H.R. 5283, the Protecting our Communities from Failure to Secure the Border Act of 2023, which ensures federal funding is not used to house migrants on any land under the jurisdiction of the federal land management agencies. This includes the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Forest Service.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted in favor of H.R. 6363, the Further Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act, to avoid a government shutdown and prevent an irresponsible end-of-year Megabus spending bill. 

This bill passed the House by a vote of 336-95. 

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) recently submitted the Susan Muffley Act of 2023 as a bipartisan amendment to H.R. 5894, the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of Fiscal Year 2024. 

Joining Congresswoman Tenney in this effort are Representatives Mike Turner (R-OH), Dan Kildee (D-MI), and Gwen Moore (D-WI).

Washington, DC– Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today sent a letter to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, calling for him to extradite the leaders of Hamas and any other terrorist groups sheltered in Qatar. 

Tenney’s letter recognizes the special relationship the United States and Qatar have as a direct result of our economic and military ties and encourages the Emir to extradite Hamas’s leaders swiftly so they may be brought to justice for the crimes they have committed.
