Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24), which passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 310-118. This legislation includes two of Congresswoman Tenney’s amendments aimed at strengthening U.S. national security.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today introduced the Ensuring PBM Competition Act to prohibit any Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) participating in Medicare from owning a pharmacy. The bill grants PBMs five years after the date of enactment to divest their pharmacy ownership, with an allotment for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to grant a two-year delay if needed.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) voted in favor of H.R. 5283, the Protecting our Communities from Failure to Secure the Border Act of 2023, which ensures federal funding is not used to house migrants on any land under the jurisdiction of the federal land management agencies. This includes the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Forest Service.
