Tenney Meets with Broome County Officials for Storm Update, Highlights Available Resources

Binghamton, NY – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today met with Broome County Executive Jason Garnar to receive an update on the situation in Broome County following yesterday’s severe weather. She also offered her full support at the federal level to ensure a swift and comprehensive response to the crisis.

“The severe weather in Broome County has had a devastating toll on the community, with power outages expected to continue over the next several days. I want to thank County Executive Garnar and his entire team for their quick response. I am also grateful to our first responders and utility workers, who have been working tirelessly to care for those in need and restore power to those impacted. I will do everything I can at the federal level to ensure the needs of our community are fully met,” said Tenney.

  • Northern Broome Senior Center, 12 Strongs Pl., Whitney Point;
  • First Ward Senior Center, 226 Clinton St., Binghamton;
  • Johnson City Senior Center, 30 Brocton St., Johnson City;
  • West Windsor Baptist Church, 166 North Rd., Windsor.
