Congresswoman Tenney Unveils 2025 Tax Plan to Lower Costs for Families and Small Businesses

July 30, 2025

Oswego, New York—Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY‑24) today unveiled her 2025 Tax Plan to lower costs for families, protect small businesses and family farms, and expand opportunity across New York’s 24th District.

As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, Tenney helped craft President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4, 2025. The law builds on the success of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act by locking in lower tax rates, eliminating unfair IRS rules, cutting taxes on tips and overtime, and delivering new relief to seniors, families, and small businesses.

Tenney is the only Republican in New York to vote for both of President Trump’s landmark tax reform bills. Her plan outlines how these wins will benefit NY-24 and where Congress must continue to build.

“My mission has always been to put New York taxpayers first,” said Congresswoman Tenney. “This plan rewards work, protects family businesses, and gives families more control over their hard-earned money. I’ll never stop fighting to make our tax code work for small business and families across NY-24.”
