Congresswoman Tenney Extends Community Project Funding Deadline for Fiscal Year 2027

March 9, 2026

Washington, DC — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced that the deadline for Community Project Funding (CPF) submissions to her office for Fiscal Year 2027 has been extended to Friday, March 13 at close of business.

The Community Project Funding process is an important way to advance projects that directly benefit communities across New York’s 24th District. It promotes transparency, accountability, and congressional oversight in the funding process while ensuring local priorities are represented in Washington. The CPF program allows eligible local governments and nonprofit organizations to submit requests for federal funding for high-priority community projects. All proposals must meet strict eligibility requirements, demonstrate strong local support, and include a clear plan to use taxpayer dollars responsibly and effectively. My office works closely with applicants throughout the process to help ensure any awarded funds deliver meaningful results for the district.

Local elected officials and nonprofit organizations interested in submitting applications or seeking additional information should email: AppropriationsRequestsNY24@mail.house.gov.
