Congresswoman Tenney Announces Three Grants Bringing Over $5 Million to NY-24
Cleveland, NY – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today announced three significant grants that will bring over $5 million of much-needed funding to our district. Tenney has been a tenacious supporter of these programs as well as a steadfast advocate for these federal grants on behalf of her constituents.
Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program Award:
City of Watertown: $85,754.54
City of Auburn: $30,368.18
This grant program aims to enhance the capabilities of fire departments in both Watertown and Auburn. The funds will be used to bolster fire and medical response capacities, ensuring the safety of emergency personnel and the public.
Head Start and Early Head Start Award:
Cayuga and Seneca Community Action Agency: $5 million
This grant will help empower and strengthen early education initiatives within the community.
