Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Slams Biden Administration as Potential Terrorist is Caught by CBP Wearing Central Oneida County Volunteer Uniform

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today released the following statement slamming the Biden Administration over its inaction to secure the border after US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officials released information that a 21-year-old man with numerous links to Yemeni subjects of interest was apprehended wearing a “Central Oneida County Volunteer” jacket with the American flag.

“For months, President Biden and Vice President Harris have done absolutely nothing to secure our border, leaving it open for dangerous individuals to illegally enter our country, even those with suspected ties to terrorist groups. Biden, Harris, and Mayorkas have refused to enforce our laws, and this is the consequence. I reiterate my call for Secretary Mayorakas to resign immediately and am pressing for answers. We must know how this individual acquired the uniform and what risk he posed to Upstate communities. This incident makes it clear that Biden’s Border Crisis is truly a national security emergency impacting every community.”

Following news of the apprehension, Tenney reached out to CBP and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) requesting information about the individual in question, including how he acquired the uniform and what threat he may have posed to Oneida County.
