Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Commemorates Veterans Day

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) released the following video message commemorating Veterans Day.

Tenney continues to be a steadfast advocate in Congress of our Nation’s veterans. Recently, Tenney released her congressional veterans plan highlighting the bills she supports to ensure our veterans are well-equipped and properly supported, whether they are just returning to civilian life or have been out of the Armed Forces for a longer period of time.

Hi, I’m Congresswoman Claudia Tenney. 

Today is a national day of celebration. It’s Veterans Day, an opportunity for our Nation to come together to celebrate American heroes who have served us. 

Over the course of our nation’s history, America has fought many battles. Some were lost, many were won, but they were all fought by patriotic Americans who shared a common goal of advancing our interests and preserving our freedoms. Those battles were fought with bravery, passion, and courage. Tomorrow’s battles will be fought with this same resolve.

Today, we pause to say thank you to these great Americans. 

As we celebrate Veterans Day, I am inspired by the heroic veterans I’ve met throughout my career, from Oswego and Herkimer to Utica and Binghamton and across this great state and our country. It is my mission in Congress to give back to these Americans and their families. It is vital that we support them with as much passion and commitment as they’ve displayed in serving us. I am honored to sponsor legislation in Congress that would accomplish this mission and ensure our veterans have our full support when they return home from battle or complete their service. 

May we honor their service and heroism today and every day.
