Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Appointed to Big Tech Task Force

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) today announced she has been appointed by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to serve on the House Big Tech Censorship and Data Task Force. The group of Republican lawmakers will examine the laws governing Big Tech companies like Facebook and Twitter and how it impacts Americans' rights and freedoms, including our free speech rights.
"I am honored to be selected to the Big Tech Taskforce to lead the fight to protect our First Amendment rights, hold big tech accountable, and safeguard our personal data. Not only have Facebook and Twitter made a habit of censoring conservatives online and harvesting our private data, they've also started playing a partisan role to influence our elections, as I recently exposed. It's time big tech plays by the same rules as everyone else, and I look forward to serving on this task force to drive real results that safeguard our liberties."
Other Members of Congress who will be serving on the Big Tech Censorship and Data Task Force with Tenney include Cathy Rodgers (WA-05) as the task force lead, Buddy Carter (GA-01), Bob Latta (OH-05), Gus Bilirakis (FL-12), Kelly Armstrong (ND-AL), Cliff Bentz (OR-02), Mike Johnson (LA-04), Dan Bishop (NC-09), Michael Cloud (TX-27), Jake LaTurner (KS-02), Ben Cline (VA-06), Bill Huizenga (MI-02), Russ Fulcher (ID-01), Jay Obernolte (CA-08), and Madison Cawthorn (NC-11).
