TENNEY BRINGS LOCAL LEADERS TOGETHER TO DISCUSS ELECTION INTEGRITY
HERKIMER, N.Y. – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney hosted a roundtable discussion about election integrity in Herkimer on Wednesday.
Tenney, who is the co-chair of the House Election Integrity Caucus, was also joined by Congressman Rodney Davis, who is the ranking member of the Congressional Committee on House Administration, which oversees election policy.
"This is our first phase of our election integrity caucus. We're going into our local governments and meeting with our legislators and meeting with our boards of elections commissioners to hear about what the problems were, how do we solve them, how do we fix this, so we restore election integrity in our elections so more people vote,” said Tenney.
She was also joined by Sen. Peter Oberacker, Assemblyman John Salka and New York State Board of Elections Commissioner Anthony J. Casale; as well as Herkimer County Legislature Chairman Vincent Bono, Herkimer County Board of Elections Commissioner Kim Tranter and Madison County Board of Elections Commissioner Mary Egger, along with other officials.
