Rep. Tenney says vaccine is working; shouldn’t be mandatory
CHENANGO COUNTY (WBNG) -- Some counties in New York’s 22nd District have seen some of the lowest vaccine rates in the state. That is according to data from New York’s website for vaccine tracking.
Thursday Representative Claudia Tenney visited the village of Sherburne to discuss expanding broadband access in the state. While there she also discussed her take on the COVID-19 vaccination rollout.
“Even though this vaccine is not FDA approved, it seems to be working. It seems to be bringing the contraction rates down, the death rates are going down.”
Tenney says that she has personally been fully vaccinated but does not believe that it should be mandatory for everyone.
