Congresswoman Claudia Tenney named to the Big Tech Task Force

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) announced today that she has been appointed by Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy to join the House Big Tech Censorship and Data Task Force. The group of Republican lawmakers will look at the laws governing big tech companies like Facebook and Twitter and how it affects Americans’ rights and freedoms, including our free speech rights.

“I am honored to have been selected in the Big Tech Taskforce to lead the fight to protect our First Amendment rights, hold big techs accountable and safeguard our personal data. Not only Facebook and Twitter have gotten into the habit of censoring conservatives. online and collecting private data, they have also begun to play a partisan role in influencing our elections, as I recently exposed.
