Congresswoman Tenney Releases 2025 Law Enforcement Plan
Oswego, New York — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today released her 2025 Law Enforcement Plan, outlining her commitment to supporting our police, restoring public safety, and rebuilding trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Rep. Tenney’s plan stands firmly against the radical defund and demoralize the police movement and ensures law enforcement officers have the resources, legal protections, and tools they need to keep Americans safe. It focuses on three key priorities: Supporting Our Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers, Removing Barriers to Protecting Our Communities, and Ensuring Officers Have the Resources and Protections They Need.
The plan includes legislation to deport illegal aliens who assault police officers, establish a national Law Enforcement Bill of Rights, repeal dangerous sanctuary-style laws, restore common-sense bail standards, expand qualified immunity, modernize antiquated laws regarding nonlethal technology, and protect first responders from deadly substances like fentanyl.
“For too long, our courageous law enforcement officers have been vilified, defunded, demoralized, and denied the tools they need to do their job,” said Congresswoman Tenney. “Since 2021, over 1,000 officers have died in the line of duty, making this the deadliest period in decades. I will always Back the Blue and fight to ensure these heroes have the resources, protections, and respect they deserve. My plan restores law and order, protects our communities, and sends a clear message: we stand with our brave law enforcement officers.”
