Utica, NY—Today, Rep. Claudia Tenney (NY-22), announced a $1,000,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This grant is awarded to the Utica Housing Authority to help identify and eliminate lead-based paint hazards in public housing.

“Utica has experienced a record amount of lead poisoning cases over the years, resulting in adverse health effects, especially for children. This grant will provide much-needed funding to ensure lead-based paint is properly identified and eliminated, and the health of the people of Utica are made a priority,” said Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.
