Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Cosponsors Resolution in Support of ICE
Washington, D.C.— Today, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) cosponsored H.Res. 990, a Resolution in support of the officers and personnel who carry out the important mission of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“Calls to abolish ICE are recklessly misguided and dangerous. Out-of-touch, liberal politicians want a lawless society, meanwhile, the majority of Americans oppose their dangerous move to abolish ICE. The men and women of ICE leave their loved ones every day and risk their lives to protect American lives. These public servants play a critical role in keeping terrorism, illicit drugs, human traffickers and violent criminals out of our country. ICE officers deserve our support and respect,” said Congresswoman Claudia Tenney. “This resolution expresses our gratitude for ICE’s sacrifice and support for their critical mission. I would like to thank my friend and colleague Rep. Clay Higgins for introducing this resolution and ensuring equal justice and the rule of law are still alive.”
