Washington, DC—Today, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) issued the following statement in response to Harden Furniture shutting down.

“Harden Furniture has been a centerpiece of the McConnellsville community for generations, and is one of our region’s longest continuously operating businesses. We have personally reached out to Mr. Harden, and my office stands ready to provide any assistance we can to this historic business and their employees,” said Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.  “If New York wants to keep quality businesses like Harden in our state, Albany must reel in the oppressive tax and regulatory regime and implement business-friendly policies.”
