More on Education
New Hartford, NY- Today, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R—NY) voted in support of two measures, H.J. Res. 57 and H. J. Res. 58, that would begin to restore local control to our education system.
The first measure, H.J. Res. 57 will rollback unilateral federal control of our education system by ensuring that states are charged with developing accountability standards. While H. J. Res. 58 will stop the implementation of a rule submitted by the Department of Education that would evaluate our teachers based almost solely on student outcomes.
