Congresswoman Tenney Releases 2025 Border Security Plan

August 15, 2025

Oswego, New York — Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24)today released her 2025 Border Security Plan, outlining her commitment to restoring law and order at our border, ending illegal immigration, and protecting American communities.

Rep. Tenney’s plan codifies President Donald Trump’s historic border security achievements to ensure the failures of the Biden administration’s open-border policies are never repeated. It focuses on three key priorities: Securing Our Borders, Prioritizing America First, and Upholding the Rule of Law. The plan includes legislation to hire more ICE agents, complete the wall, stop deadly fentanyl, deport criminal illegal aliens, and end federal funding for sanctuary cities.

“Under former President Biden, our country faced the largest humanitarian and security crisis in decades. He allowed more than 10 million illegal immigrants to flood into our country unchecked, held back our law enforcement from doing their jobs, and allowed criminal gang members to terrorize our communities, while also punishing border states for trying to secure their borders, ” said Congresswoman Tenney. “Under President Trump, our borders are already more secure, our agents are empowered to uphold the law, and Americans are safer. My plan builds on these successes, helps to secure the Northern Border, finishes the southern border wall, stops illicit drugs, and ensures our communities never again endure the chaos and lawlessness we saw under Biden.”
