Congresswoman Tenney Releases 2025 America First Foreign Policy Plan

Oswego, New York—Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY‑24)today released her America First Foreign Policy Plan to outline her continued efforts to rebuild strong American leadership on the global stage, confront the growing threat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), protect American taxpayer dollars from corrupt international organizations, and promote peace and stability in the Western Balkans.

As the mother of a U.S. Marine officer and a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Tenney brings firsthand experience and clear-eyed leadership to today’s global challenges. Her plan builds on the foreign policy successes of the Trump administration and outlines a strong national security strategy based on peace through strength, responsible diplomacy, and strategic investments that align with American interests.

Tenney’s America First Foreign Policy Plan highlights her commitment to holding China accountable for its human rights abuses, intellectual property theft, and efforts to undermine U.S. sovereignty. She is backing legislation to block CCP land purchases near critical infrastructure, ban Chinese AI tools from government devices, and counter Chinese and Russian aggression in the Arctic.

The plan also focuses on protecting American taxpayer dollars from being wasted on corrupt and anti-American global institutions. Tenney supports defunding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) due to its ties to Hamas, blocking the Biden administration’s attempts to bypass the Senate with pandemic treaties at the World Health Organization (WHO), and sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC) for targeting U.S. allies.

As Co-Chair of the Serbia and Macedonia Caucuses and a leader on Balkan policy, Tenney continues to call out human rights abuses against Serbs in Kosovo and advocate for U.S. engagement to prevent further Russian and Chinese influence in the region.
